WHAT INVESTMENT IS REQUIRED TO BECOME A FIGHTING FIT MARTIAL ARTS CENTRE?

Estimated costs:

Most Franchisees initially operate from home or from rented premises on a part-time basis several nights a week. This minimizes the initial outlays for a commercial lease whilst building student numbers, although some office set up will still be required.

If the Franchisee operates from a commercial premises from the outset, then additional expenses will be incurred to negotiate and enter into a lease, then set up and fit out the premises according to the Franchisors standards of operating a full-time Franchised Business.

It is difficult to estimate how much working capital will be necessary to commence or continue to operate the Franchised Business. Potential Franchisees should allow between $25,000 and $50,000 in set up and working capital requirements, depending on a number of fluctuating circumstances that will require the Franchisee to conduct due diligence and prepare a detailed business plan.

Working capital requirements will be less for a part time Franchised Business compared to a full time Franchised business. The Franchisee must make sufficient allowance to have available, un-borrowed working capital, sufficient to enable the Franchised Business to operate for a period of at least 6 months.

It is extremely unwise for the Franchisee to borrow all working capital as this will significantly affect the profitability of the Franchised Business. Therefore it is the Franchisee’s responsibility to prepare a detailed cash flow budget in conjunction with a business and marketing plan.

Inventory Costs:

Inventory costs vary significantly from franchise to franchise.  The Franchisor estimates that the cost of such inventory will range between $1,000 to $5,000. Payment for such inventory must be made to the relevant suppliers upon terms negotiated by the Franchisee with such suppliers. Whether such payments are refundable (and, if so, the conditions of any refund) will be dependent upon terms negotiated by the Franchisee with such suppliers.

Complete details of the range of costs to start operating a Fighting Fit Martial Arts Centre Franchised Business, based on current practice are detailed in the Disclosure Document for Fighting Fit Martial Arts Centre which is available upon application and the first interview being completed.

We look forward to discussing your application with you.
