Master Wayne Abbott began instructing martial arts schools in 1981. Fighting Fit Martial Arts Centre was established by Wayne Abbott in 2000 and the evolution to Fighting Fit Martial Arts Centre Pty Ltd occurred in 2010.

Wayne's approach was to combine corporate business philosophy gained from his many years of work experience and training, then embracing the concepts of diversity and inclusion, where the instructor serves the school, the school serves the students, and substance is more important than style.
